Hi! I’m Maty, the heart behind Red Clog Kitchen.

My journey with food started long before this business, but it truly came to life after I was laid off from my corporate job. Instead of jumping back into the 9-to-5 grind, I decided to follow my lifelong passion: cooking. What began as weekly private chef services for a few local families quickly grew into something much bigger.

In 2024, I packed my knives and headed across the pond to Ballymaloe Cookery School, a culinary school set on a 100-acre organic farm along the coast of Ireland. Living and learning on the farm deepened my understanding of sustainability, seasonality, and the magic that happens when you know exactly where your food comes from. Every ingredient had a story, from the garden to the plate, and that philosophy has become the foundation of Red Clog Kitchen.

Today, I’m bringing that same approach home by partnering with local farms and producers to create meals that are not only delicious and nourishing but also rooted in community and care for the environment.

I believe in food that fuels, comforts, and brings people together. Whether you’re a busy parent, a working professional, or someone who just wants to eat well without the stress, I’m here to make that easy.

All of the meals taste different, super fresh (even at the end of the week), they reheat well, and they taste like REAL food. The other meal prep deliveries I have tried, the meals kind of blend together because they have the same vibe and smells. These are all unique and fresh. Such a treat. Also.. the COOKIES!!

My rating is 4 stars because the portion sizes vary quite a bit, and while most meals fill me up, I've had several that felt like an a la cart item, that I had to fill in with sides or a main.

It's truly impossible to find any meal services or restaurants that avoid seed oils and always aims for organic ingredients. We can trust the high quality of these items and that is the main reason we are repeat customers week after week (ingredients matter). Red Clog knows this isn't the easiest path, but it's the right path for both the health of their customers and supporting the local community of farmers. Chef Maty creates each week's menu around fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local Washington farms and producers. Meals are made from scratch, fully prepared, and delivered to your door, with no subscription required.

How is Red Clog Kitchen different from other meal delivery services?

Our meals begin with what's fresh, local, and in season.

Instead of building a static menu that looks the same year-round, we work with local farmers and producers and let the season shape what Chef Maty cooks each week. Meals are prepared from scratch, delivered ready to heat, and packaged with sustainability in mind.

And unlike many meal delivery services, there's no subscription to manage. Order when you want meals and skip the weeks you don't.

I am a retailer or gym owner. Can Red Clog Kitchen provide meals to sell at my business?
