Getting Started & Ordering
When do orders need to be placed by?
Ordering is open Monday at 8am through Wednesday at 11:59pm for the following week's deliveries. Farmers don't wait — neither should you.
Do I have to subscribe?
Nope! Red Clog Kitchen is not a subscription service. Order during the weeks you want meals, and skip the weeks you don't. There is nothing to pause, cancel, or remember to skip.
Is Red Clog Kitchen a meal kit?
No. We do the cooking for you! Your meals arrive fully prepared, so there's no chopping, prepping, or following a recipe. Just heat your meal when you're ready to eat.
Can I gift a meal box to someone else?
Absolutely! We'd love to be shared as a gift with your friends or family. Just make sure they're within our delivery radius. While gifting is welcome, please note that deliveries will be made to the billing address on file unless you specify a different delivery address during checkout.

How many people does each meal feed?
Each meal feeds one hungry human. No sharing needed. Just select how many mouths you're feeding and we'll handle the rest!
How big are the meals?
Big enough to leave you happy, not hibernating. Each one is a hearty, single-serve portion packed with farm-fresh flavor and feel-good fuel.
Can everyone in my family choose different meals?
Absolutely. You can mix and match meals from the week's menu, so everyone in your household doesn't have to eat the same thing. Choose the dishes that work best for your family's individual preferences.
Are there any signup or additional fees?
None at all! There is no signup fee or delivery fee, and you don't need a subscription. We believe healthy, local meals should be simple, not complicated with hidden costs.

How do I heat the meals?
Each week, we'll email you instructions for the best way to heat every dish. All meals can go straight into the microwave for easy, on-the-go convenience or be warmed in the oven if you've got a little extra time and want that just-cooked feel.
How long is the shelf life of the meals?
Our meals are crafted to be enjoyed fresh and are best consumed within the week they're delivered to ensure optimal taste and quality.
Can I customize my meals to meet my dietary restrictions?
We offer a wide variety of meals each week, including vegetarian options. While we do our best to include something for everyone, we can't guarantee that gluten-free, dairy-free, or other allergy-specific options will be available every week because our menu changes seasonally.
We always list common allergens in each dish so you can make informed choices while ordering. If you have severe food allergies, please use caution, as we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination won't occur.

Delivery
When will my meals be delivered?
At checkout, you'll choose a preferred delivery window. Unless otherwise specified, we’ll deliver to the billing address. We're happy to deliver to your home or workplace—just be sure to note the correct address during checkout.
How do you keep the meals cold while delivering?
We treat your meals like VIPs! Each one travels in insulated, chilled containers so they stay fresh and perfectly ready to eat when they arrive at your door.
Is there a delivery fee?
None at all! We believe healthy, local meals should be simple, not complicated with hidden costs.
Can I gift a meal box to someone else?
Absolutely! We’d love to be shared as a gift with your friends or family—just make sure they’re within our delivery radius. While gifting is welcome, please note that all deliveries will be made to the billing address on file unless you specify a different address in the delivery instructions during checkout. (Note: We also sell gift cards if that's easier!)
What do I do with the bag and ice packs after my delivery?
At Red Clog, our cooler bags and ice packs are designed to be reused. It is one of the small ways we reduce waste and stay true to our commitment to sustainability. The more times we can reuse each bag, the greener our operation stays.
After you unpack your yummy meals into your fridge, pop the unfrozen ice packs back in the cooler bag and remember to leave it on your porch before your next delivery. If you don’t have another delivery coming up, just shoot us an email at redclogkitchen@gmail.com and we’ll come grab it on the next Sunday or Monday pickup, depending on your area.
If a cooler bag goes missing for over a month, we will need to charge a 15 dollar replacement fee so we can keep the system running smoothly.
Can you deliver to my workplace?
Yes! We're happy to deliver to your home or workplace as long as the address is within our delivery area. Just make sure you enter the correct delivery address during checkout.

Why does the menu change every week?
Because what's growing locally changes throughout the year!
Seasonality is at the heart of how we cook. Our weekly menu evolves around the ingredients available from our local farms and producers, giving you food that's fresh, seasonal, and connected to what's being grown right here in our region.
Plus, no one wants to have to eat the same thing every week!
Are your containers recyclable or compostable?
Yes! Our meal packaging is 100% compostable, so you can enjoy your meals knowing you're making a more sustainable choice that's better for the planet.
What do I do with the cooler bag and ice packs after my delivery?
At Red Clog, our cooler bags and ice packs are designed to be reused. It's one of the small ways we reduce waste and stay true to our commitment to sustainability. The more times we can reuse each bag, the greener our operation stays.
After you unpack your meals into your fridge, pop the unfrozen ice packs back into the cooler bag and leave it on your porch before your next delivery.

How is Red Clog Kitchen different from other meal delivery services?
Our meals begin with what's fresh, local, and in season.
Instead of building a static menu that looks the same year-round, we work with local farmers and producers and let the season shape what Chef Maty cooks each week. Meals are prepared from scratch, delivered ready to heat, and packaged with sustainability in mind.
And unlike many meal delivery services, there's no subscription to manage. Order when you want meals and skip the weeks you don't.
I am a retailer or gym owner. Can Red Clog Kitchen provide meals to sell at my business?
Not at this time. We don't offer wholesale yet! But we love the support and are always open to fun collaborations or creative partnerships. Send us a message and let's chat.
