Metta Farms

Metta Farm is a 1/4 acre farm located in Woodinville, WA, specializing in the cultivation of Asian heritage vegetables and herbs. Metta is a Pali (ancient Indian) word that means loving-kindness, which is the farm’s core value, and the way every living being is treated on the farm. Metta Farm stands behind its name and core value in aiming to keep the land and the community healthy, and to provide fresh and nutrient-dense produce to the community through using no-till, regenerative, and organic farming practices that promote biodiversity, increase soil health, and attract natural predators to attend to garden pests. These practices include using only non-GMO seeds, organic compost and inputs, and preventive-only pest management (physical barrier, crop rotation, companion planting, good sanitation, etc.).

Metta Farm offers 18 weeks CSA in three options: a weekly CSA, an even week CSA, and an odd week CSA. CSA members will receive 7-12 items in the share, depending on the seasonality. Most of the items in the share will be common and specialty Asian vegetables, such as bok choy, shungiku, a choy, celtuce, garlic chives, sweet potato leaves, water spinach, etc. We also wholesale our produce to local distributors, restaurants, and food banks. Rain Dog Farm

Rain Dog Farm, for the past eight years, has one mission; fresh or bust. If I, owner and head farmer Charlie Wainger, aren’t learning to grow better crops every year I ain’t happy. Rain Dog continues to be a no till, no spray, natural practice farm with a goal to limit waste wherever possible. All plant scraps, microgreen remains, cardboard, etc. is either composted to use again in the field or added directly to garden beds. I work with local seed suppliers and in 2026 will begin seed saving, starting with my tomatoes, zucchini, and cucumbers. I’m proud to work with the community through my relationships with distributors with a local focus, my town’s seasonal farmers market, as well as local restaurants, and the first ever Rain Dog Farm Stand, which opened up in November of this year. Keep eating and I’ll keep producing.

Sound Sustainable Farm

Sound Sustainable Farms began as a field of weeds and has grown into a thriving source of organic food for the local community. Certified Organic by WSDA and GAP certified for food safety, the farm is rooted in the belief that everyone should know where their food comes from and how it’s grown. Stewardship, transparency, and care for the land guide everything they do.

Farming in the Pacific Northwest is a seasonal adventure that demands deep knowledge of a constantly shifting climate. Sound Sustainable Farms grows a wide variety of produce throughout the year, always with respect for nature’s rhythms and a commitment to responsible, local agriculture. By reducing the distance from farm to table, they ensure the freshest produce possible. While they prioritize in-season local crops, they also thoughtfully source from trusted organic partner farms during the off-season to offer a year-round selection at their Farm Stand.

Visitors are welcome to join a scheduled tour or stop by to learn more about how and what they grow.

Farm Stand Hours: Wednesday–Saturday, 10am–5pm.

Olsen Farms

Olsen Farms is a family farm in a mountain valley north of Colville, Washington. We grow more than 20 varieties of potatoes in a range of colors and textures, each selected for its flavor and cooking qualities.

We also raise Angus beef, pork, and lamb with a focus on sustainability and local feed. Our animals graze on pasture, eat crops grown on our land or by nearby farmers, and all of our meat is processed at Smokey Ridge Meats, our own USDA facility in Chewelah.

Caring for the land and supporting rural communities is central to our work. Our fields and forests are home to deer, elk, eagles, coyotes, and plenty of wild turkeys.

You can find us at farmers markets, in restaurant kitchens, and delivering directly to homes. Olsen Farms was founded in the mid 90s by Brent Olsen, who continues to farm today alongside his wife Kira and their daughters.

Blue Glass Farm

Blue Glass Farm is run by Tyler Morgan and Alexandra Swidergal—two Washingtonians who met at a middle school dance, reconnected years later, and now farm together in Woodinville.

Alexandra brings a Master’s in Plant Health Management from WSU; Tyler is a self-taught market gardener inspired by urban farming in NYC. We’re small by design. A quarter-acre operation means we can focus on quality over quantity, growing food we’re proud to put on our own table—and yours.

Blue Glass Farm uses regenerative practices that build healthy soil and respect the land. No shortcuts, no sprays, just good farming. They grow heirloom tomatoes, specialty greens, and unique vegetables that commercial farms skip because they don’t ship well—but they taste incredible.
